You are so smart. You are so kind. Your personality shines so brightly. You have been growing up on me and turning into your own person. The way you express yourself is beautiful.

I love that you still need me. I know for a fact I’m your favorite person. I love the art you create. I love the stories you tell. I love the way you laugh and your big hugs.

I feel like I haven’t been the best mommy to you, but I want you to know that I’m trying. I look at you and I know I’m the luckiest mom in the world. Your dad and I can’t wait to give you the best life we can. It’s hard right now but better days are on the horizon.

Keep growing. Keep dreaming. Keep laughing. Stay sweet, kind, strong and brave. The rest will come and I’ll be right here to help you on your way.
